Bag Organiser

I have a handbag that I love, but that is completely impractical. It is a silky combination of browns and neutrals with a splash of orange, but it is completely formless. Just one large space, with no structure, for things to rattle around in. You know the type. No matter how carefully you arrange things in it, the moment you walk out the door, everything tumbles together into one corner. Finding your keys or lip gloss also requires finding a surface (shop counter, car bonnet, floor) to set the bag on as you rummage through the disparate contents.

I rarely used it, because I could never find anything in it. Until I stumbled upon a bag organiser while shopping on Amazon. The bag organiser is basically a fabric pouch, full of pockets and zipped compartments, which slots inside the handbag. It is not attractive, but it was inexpensive, and possibly the most practical thing I have bought recently. It has transformed my lovely, but impractical handbag, into the most useful one I have. It has become my go-to bag for weekends and holidays- keys and valuables can be safely zipped away, there’s enough space for a water bottle, and my camera is always within easy reach.
