Sweet Annecy - La Cure Gourmande

We arrived in the rain and made our way quickly to the old town. Our hope was to spend time out of the rain, finding shelter in the shops, churches, and cafes.

Annecy is a tourist destination. The town is perched on the edge of a beautiful lake and the community appears to actively promote its tourist credentials.

One shop doing its best to attract the tourists is La Cure Gourmande; a shop filled with sweet eatable treats. The staff offered free samples ensuring we stayed just that little bit longer.
