Why is the underside of this overpass in Lyon painted like a road? Is it possible they reused a section of road and flipped it over; I suspect not.

The lettering TRANSBO appears to refer to a nearby theatre for musical acts (NSFW). The association is not immediately clear and any advertising purpose was lost on me. To whoever executed this work, it is impressive and conjured memories of the film Inception.
