Recovering

Having recently fallen on concrete, I needed to find a doctor or medical centre in Lyon for follow up treatment. I ended up visiting Fondation Dispensaire Générale de Lyon, a general medical centre, within Lyon 3ème.

Visiting the medical centre turned out to be a more stressful ordeal than dealing with the hospital emergency department. The stress came from needing to understand the order of queuing, ticketing, and waiting involved. Thankfully the medical treatment itself was fast and easy.

I was pleased to find this centre. I felt like an anonymous entity moving through the system but for the simple procedure I needed, that was ideal.

My stitches are out and the bruising has almost gone. I have since returned for one more run along the river where I fell. It was not a relaxing run but I was pleased to get back in one piece.
